The Up2Stream Amp and accessories worked great right out of the box. I love the way it works and sounds with my speakers. Perfect for my current "modern components in a vintage enclosure" project!

One thing that could be improved is access to cables not supplied with the board. Accessories (like the rotary encoder volume control) come with ribbon cables and connectors to connect them to the board. But if you want to hook into the onboard sockets for "phono in" and "aux 2 in", for example, with compatible ribbon cable and connectors, you are on your own to figure out the relevant cabling standard and how to buy or build the needed cable.

Customer support got back to me quickly when I asked about this, but (unhelpfully) referred me to standard RCA-terminated audio cables (such as would be used to connect a tape player or phono to a standard receiver) that they do offer but that do not meet my needs. Terminated ribbon cables should be bundled in with the board or at a minimum offered for sale as a package so that the purchaser can access all important board inputs and functions.

Very good product, sound way better than other for similar price. I like options for expansions. Need a good linear power
supply and grounding. On the other hand, in my case, only RCA and Bluetooth work. Toslink and Digital connects are dead! Remote switches system off but system comes back by itself. Yuo don't need remote. App does the job. Keep your proof of purchase for replacment. Unfortunately I destroyed my.

I was baffled when I hooked up the HD DAC to my Hifi setup. The sound quality from the analog output is stunning. The DAC is easy to use and the app is great ( I use it for my 3 channel boards from arylic, too.) The dedicated display is easy to connect and works great.
Now to the possible improvements: if you want to hook up a button board or a digital input or any other board for the older boards, you are on your own. There is one thread in the forum where you find information, that's it. The good news: when you find out how to hook up things, it works great. By the way: you need JST ph connectors for the HD board. @ arylic: please provide documentation how to connect things, even better: sell ready made cables with connectors for this purpose. 3d models for all your boards or at least a drawing for the HD DAC would be a dire need.
So, all in all: the five stars are for the great sound quality and the well working app.
For documentation it's one and a half star.

So far, everything we've ordered has worked well and we've been quite happy with the product. The only concern I have for Arylic surrounds their retail consumer support. I get pretty good responsiveness from my inside, wholesale account manager, but when trying to reach customer support to handle questions or issues through the customer support department, they are unresponsive. In fact, over the last 6 weeks, I've submitted 2 questions and have not received any reply. This concern for how consumers will be treated if they need help is my only reason for not giving a 5 star rating. The products are rock solid and the operating system is extremely intuitive, simple to set up and use.
